By accessing or using Smart Mailbox Cleaner ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Smart Mailbox Cleaner is a web application that connects to your Gmail account via Google OAuth to:
The Service never reads, stores, or processes the body or content of your emails. All email access is limited to metadata (size, labels, dates).
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service.
The Service requires you to authenticate with a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity under it. You can revoke our access at any time via Google Account Permissions.
We also request drive.metadata.readonly only to read storage quota metadata (total and used bytes) so we can display storage usage and cleanup impact. We do not access Drive file content.
When you initiate a cleanup, emails are moved to Gmail Trash - not permanently deleted. You have 30 days from cleanup to restore ("undo") the action.
Important: Gmail automatically purges emails in Trash after 30 days. Once Gmail purges an email, it cannot be recovered. We are not responsible for emails permanently deleted by Gmail after the 30-day Trash retention period.
Free users receive a one-time allowance of 1,000 cleanup credits. Each email moved to Trash consumes one credit. There are no recurring daily top-ups on the free tier. We reserve the right to adjust quota limits with reasonable notice.
Paid plans are listed on the pricing page and may include Starter, Pro, and Power plans. Starter and Pro plans add cleanup credits. Power plan enables unlimited cleanup for a limited duration.
Payments are processed by Razorpay. Pricing and plan details shown at checkout and on the pricing page are the authoritative source at the time of purchase.
You agree not to: access Gmail accounts you don't own; reverse engineer the Service; violate Google's API policies; or use automated bots to interact with the Service.
The Service is provided "AS IS." We do not warrant accuracy of email categorisation. You are solely responsible for reviewing emails before cleanup.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim, or INR 1,000, whichever is greater.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
